Key Benefits & Operating Modes

Continuous Ionization (Ionization Mode – Green Light): Emits negative electrical charges that bind to airborne dust, pet dander, pollen, and dust mite matter. This process causes fine particulates to clump together and drop safely out of your breathing space.

Active Molecular Cleaning (Purification Mode – Blue Light): Combines negative ionization with controlled activated oxygen (ozone). Ozone molecules chemically destroy bacteria, mold, mildew, and lingering household odors before naturally reverting back into pure oxygen.

Deep Sanitization (Away Mode – Red Light): Activates an intensified 30-minute ozone sanitization cycle to neutralize the toughest organic odors and pollutants. The unit automatically shuts down or reverts to its previous setting after treatment. Note: Away Mode must be run in unoccupied spaces with a 2-hour post-treatment wait period.

Care & Maintenance

Monthly Cleaning Routine

1. Turn off the pureAir 501 and disconnect the power adapter from the outlet.
2. Release and remove the filter cover and screw located on the bottom of the unit.
3. Carefully lift out the filtration cartridge.
4. Using compressed air or a vacuum cleaner, clear built-up dust and debris from the filter cartridge and internal air cavity.
5. Warning: Do not use water or liquid cleaners on any part of the device or filter cartridge.
6. Reinstall the filter cartridge, filter cover, and screw before plugging the unit back in.

Filter Replacement

Replace the pureAir 501 Filtration Cartridge (SKU: 1X6586) once every 12 months to maintain maximum performance. High-pollutant environments may require earlier replacement.
