How to Replace Your pureAir 500 Filter

1. Turn the pureAir 500 OFF and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
2. Remove the filter screw and release the filter cover on the unit.
3. Carefully remove the expired filter from the unit.
4. Using compressed air or a vacuum, clear out any accumulated dust or debris inside the filter cavity.
   Warning: Do not use water or liquid cleaners on any part of the unit or filter.
5. Insert the new 1X5244 replacement filter firmly into place.
6. Reinstall the filter cover and secure the filter screw.
7. Plug the unit back in and return it to your preferred operating mode.

Recommended Schedule: Clean the filter cavity monthly with compressed air or a vacuum and replace the filter cartridge every 12 months, or sooner in high-pollutant environments.
